Our mission
Limen LLC develops tools, such as the Bible Changes app, that improve access to scholarly information about the Bible for people who previously couldn't reach it without a formal education.
Much of what scholars know about the Bible — how its text was copied and transmitted, where ancient manuscripts differ, and how particular passages have been debated — has traditionally been locked behind academic training, specialized languages, and expensive reference works. We believe curious readers deserve that knowledge too, presented clearly, honestly, and without an agenda.
Limen is Latin for “threshold.” Our goal is to carry readers across it.
